PREPARING FOR YOUR CORPORATE PHOTO SESSION
What to wear
Whether you go to work in a power suit or surgical scrubs, your corporate photos should reflect the professional image you want to project to your client.
Feel free to bring changes of clothes if you would like to have more than one look. Consider an item of clothing that has a colour that is featured in your branding, or on your website. Patterns are a great way to have your photos stand out, for both men and women, a patterned blouse, shirt or tie can look great if it is suited to your corporate image.
Jewelry can also be a nice accent, feel free to bring a few pieces and have us help you choose.
Hair and make up
Make up: We highly recommend women having professional make up done prior to your photo session. Below is a list of extremely talented and reputable make up artists that you can book to come do your make up at your home or office prior to you coming to the studio .
Book as far in advance as possible , these ladies book up fast !
Denise Elliot Make Up Service
( Denise has several artists available and we love them all!)

Mary Jane Baker
(Available in West Van Only)
Stick to light nail polish and lip colour. Darker tones read as black in a black and white photo.
Hair: For women, we recommend making the time to have a professional blowout for a beautiful, polished look.
Many of the makeup artists listed above also offer hair service if you prefer to have it all done at once.
For men, take extra care to ensure that fly-aways are under control and that your hair is freshly styled so it looks exactly as you’d like it to. Feel free to bring your favourite hair product so you can touch up in the studio before the shoot!
Props: If there are items that identify you in your profession (ie: architectural plans, stethescope, yoga mat etc) feel free to bring them along, it can make an interesting shot to have these featured.
