About Kathryn
PBK was started by Kathryn Langsford in 1999. As a self-taught photographer and entrepreneur, Kathryn was able to combine an ease with children, keen artistic eye, and high-end service sensibility to position herself as Vancouver's premiere children’s portrait photographer. Today she is sought after by the most well-known of Vancouver families, as well as many from outside Canada who make the trip to have their children captured annually.
At PBK we start with the end in mind.
Every session at PBK starts with a consultation in order to determine the ideal end result of your family’s portrait session . Once the end result has been established, the session is planned around it. Maybe you have limited wallspace and a fine art album best suits your decor, or perhaps you have a large spot on your landing that is perfect for a 60” statement piece, or maybe this year your hope is to start a portrait gallery wall. From the initial consultation to the final installation on your wall, PBK will help you form the intention of this year’s portrait session and see it through to perfect completion.
